Hi. I'm Angelica Eling. I write stories about the Westfield family, a big, messy, loving clan in a fictional coastal Maine town called Waverly Cove. If you like your romance slow, your small towns nosy in a good way, and your happy endings earned instead of handed over, you're in the right place.

Right now there are two books out. Changing Course follows Kate Westfield and Alex Chen through a college friendship that takes its sweet time turning into something more. Uncharted Waters follows Gemma Prescott and Liam Westfield, and it's the one readers keep telling me wrecked them a little. Good. That was the plan.

So what's this blog going to be?

Honestly, a little bit of everything. Some posts will dig into the books, the characters, and the town itself. Some will be about the authors I love and the trope conversations I can never stay out of. Some will just be me thinking out loud about slow burn romance, because I have opinions, and now I have a place to put them.

I'm not going to pretend I have a content calendar mapped out for the next two years. I don't. What I do have is a plan to show up here every week with something worth reading.

When to expect the good stuff

The first real post goes live this Wednesday at 1:15pm ET. After that, you can expect a new post every week. Same coastal Maine energy, new topic each time.

If you're new to Waverly Cove, welcome. If you've already read the books, welcome back, and yes, I know you have questions about where we are headed next. Don’t worry, we'll get there.

See you Wednesday.
